Switch&Lock - the hose coupling with the poka-yoke principle

At FAKUMA 2024, Michel Tube will be presenting a mechanical hose coupling based on the key/lock principle. The special feature of the hose coupling, which is based on the camlock system, is that it can be retrofitted to existing coupling stations.
The attachment of coding rings ensures that coupling can only take place where it is required. Incorrect couplings are thus avoided.
The particularly economical design of the mechanical coding enables all companies to take the step towards coding at low cost. The flexibility is particularly noteworthy here. For example, a classic camlock coupling system from Michel Tube can be selected, which is not coded, but can easily be extended in the future with color coding or mechanical coding - or theoretically extended to RFID coding.

This is made possible by a quick and self-explanatory change of so-called coding rings, which are attached to the adapter and the nut coupling. These ensure locking and a wide variety of mechanical coding according to the key/lock principle.
Michel Tube's innovative system combines all the points that are relevant in practice. A robust, proven coupling system that can be extended; a cost-effective color or mechanical coding up to the possibility of RFID coding or traceability of coupling processes and thus full flexibility when investing in the subject of coding.
